This bill would exempt from sales and use tax sales of property to or used in the renovation or expansion of a civil rights museum constructed after July 1, 2009, is larger than 40,000 square feet, contains special event and retail space, and is owned or operated by a 501(c)(3) organization. This sales tax exemption would sunset on July 30, 2025.
