This bill would allow county insurance premium tax revenue to be used for flood risk reduction, including the creation of flood risk management strategies and plans, installation of storm-water management infrastructure, and acquisition of high-risk properties. This use would be in addition to existing permissible uses for unincorporated areas of counties.
