HB 886, Elections: Ballot Security

This legislation would require that security paper used for printing ballots and printed ballots be stored in locked containers with numbered seals. When security paper or ballots are transfered for elections purposes a chain of custody document would be required to be established indicating who transfered the documents. Ballots which have been scanned would likewise have to be stored in locked containers and chain of custody documents would have to be maintained.
