SB 201, Limitation on County Contracts to Collect Municipal Taxes

This bill would, in part, allow a county containing at least 14 municipalities and any municipality located in the county to contract for the county tax commissioner to collect the municipal property taxes. This contract will specify the amount the municipality will pay the county and any compensation the county will provide the county tax commissioner for this service.
