This legislation would allow for the continued collection of lodging tax revenue for the payment of bonds used to finance a state facility even if the boundaries of a city are changed. This legislation is aimed at allowing continued financing of Mercedes Benz stadium through lodging taxes collected within the boundaries of Atlanta even if the proposed Buckhead City is created using portions of Atlanta.
