New Legislative Study Committees Coming This Fall

Various legislative study committees are being formed and have begun scheduling meetings. These include the Georgia Commission on Freight & Logistics, the House Rural Development Council, a Special House Transportation Subcommittee on the Local Maintenance Improvement Grant (LMIG) Formula, the House Study Committee on Workforce Housing, and the Senate Evaluating E-Scooters and Other Innovative Mobility Options for Georgians Study Committee. 

GMA’s advocacy team will be covering the committee meetings around the state. Elected and city officials can stay tuned for additional information and ways to be plugged into these events and others.
