    • Create Fire-Adapted Communities: Develop wildfire preparedness and protection strategies to safeguard lives and property.
  • SFC Wildfire Hazard Mitigation Priorities:

    • Reduce hazardous fuels in Wildland Urban Interface (WUI) areas.
    • Develop and implement Community Wildfire Protection Plans (CWPPs).
    • Deliver prevention and mitigation education.
    • Promote Fire Adapted Community and Firewise programming or other community hazard mitigation initiatives.
