Georgia Restaurant Association
The Georgia Restaurant Association’s (GRA) mission is to serve as the voice for Georgia’s restaurants in advocacy, education and awareness. Our advocacy efforts cover issues on a national, state and local level and we keep restaurants informed about what is coming down the pipeline in order for your business to be prepared for any changes. The GRA provides educational opportunities to connect and learn from each other by trading best practices or develop your employees with our workshops, webinars and online resources. We work to also spread awareness about our industry and keep restaurants informed on issues and resources while sharing a positive message about our industry to the community and media. The GRA is sanctioned by the National Restaurant Association to operate Georgia’s only not-for-profit representing the state’s foodservice industry. The GRA serves as the unified voice for over 18,000 foodservice and drinking places in the state of Georgia with total sales in excess of $20 billion which provides more than 476,000 jobs. From large chains to start-ups, the GRA helps make Georgia a better place for restaurants to do business and helps make restaurants better for Georgia. The GRA works to protect and add to the bottom line of our industry with pre-emptive legislation, protection from frivolous law suits, opportunities to volunteer in the local community and to support Pro-Restaurant candidates. We work to maintain a positive business environment for restaurants to do business.
