Youth Councils are one of the most direct ways in which cities and city leaders can engage with the youth in their community. By educating youth on the roles and responsibilities of cities, to teaching leadership skills, to creating youth-led service projects, youth councils can play a vital role in creating healthy communities.
GMA supports the efforts of youth councils across the state and encourages cities without a youth council to create one.
