This legislation would strike language from the zoning procedures chapter of Title 36 of the OCGA. This action removes specific language relating to zoning procedures relating to halfway house (s), drug rehabilitation center (s), or another facility for treating drug dependency.

Effectively treating said facilities as you would any other proposed zoning decision. 

AMENDMENT: On Sine Die, a floor amendment to HB 1073 was offered and accepted. The amendment provides language that premepts local governments from requring the installation of camera technologies in establishments that sell gasoline.
