Rep. John Corbett
District 174

This bill seeks to ban property owners or businesses from hiring booting companies to automatically monitor parking lots. Property owners will be required to reach out to companies whenever a car is parked illegally. It also prohibits a person from paying a property owner for the right to boot or tow a vehicle from that property.

This bill will regulate booting the same way that towing is regulated.
