Rep. Mandi Ballinger
District 23

This bill loosens restrictions on where a person may carry a firearm. The bill also removes references to "valid weapons carry licenses" and replaces it with "lawful weapons carrier". Pursuant to the bill, a lawful weapons carrier is someone who "is licensed or eligible for a license" to carry a firearm and who "is not otherwise prohibited by law from possessing a weapon or long gun". These new provisions also cover those who wish to bring firearms into government buildings.
