House Bill 192 would increase the excise tax amount on consumable vapor products and vapor devices from 7 percent to 15 percent of the wholesale cost price exclusive of any trade, cash, or other discounts or any promotion. The bill also requires that any state proceeds derived from the excise tax increase on or after July 1, 2023 are to be appropriated annually to address healthcare issues affecting Georgians.
