This bill would remove a code section related to the powers of the Department of Public Health and county health boards in preventing the spread of contagious or infectios diseases. This bill would add a new code section prohibiting state and local governemnts from requiring proof of vaccine or postinfection recovery for access to government services and facilites. The bill would also prohibit state and local governemnts from requiring vaccine passports or madating masks or facial coverings to minimize the spread of a contagious or infectious disease.
