This bill provides that a local government levying a hotel-motel, who has collected over $500,000 in each of the three preceding years, may not alter or change the destination marketing organization (DMO) unless both parties agree. If both parties do not agree, such alteration or change can still occur if approved by DCA's Hotel Motel Tax Performance Review Board who shall base their decision on the eligibility of the new proposed DMO by the local government.
