This bill would establish that a law enforcement agency (LEA) may elect to enter a co-responder partnership. Those LEAs that choose not to enter a co-responder partnership (1) shall designate one peace officer to serve as the primary point of contact with the community service board; and (2) shall designate a peace officer who shall serve on a co-responder protocol committee.
