This bill provides that a person driving a vehicle on roadways in the state of Georgia without motor vehicle insurance or with expired, suspended, canceled or revoked vehicle registration, may be subject to citation via electronic image (camera). The enforcement is initiated by the officer as the camera or scanner is affixed to the officer's vehicle and if the driver is driving without insurance or registration, the officer could then initiate the ticketing process.
