Sen. Carden Summers
District 13

Senate Bill 62 limits a city or county from adopting any written policy that discourages or prohibits the enforcement of anti-camping ordinances. Similarly, it would limit a city or county from prohibiting or discouraging a prosecutor from enforcing an anti-camping ordinance.

A city would still be allowed to enact policy that encourages diversion programs or offers the provision of services in lieu of citation or arrest.
