Size: 18.4 MB Description: Legislative Policy Council Proposes 2023 Legislative Policies Legislative Policy Council (LPC) met in May to review and revise policies which GMA will pursue in the 2023 session of the General Assembly. The LPC recommends revisions which will be considered by the six standing policy committees during the GMA Annual Convention. The LPC recommendations are the result of feedback from district meetings held around the state throughout April and review by the LPC of the outcome of the previous legislative session and staff recommendations. The changes in the policy document are clearly marked. If language or a policy has been deleted, it will be noted by a strike-thru. Any new language will be shown as underlined. The Legislative Policy Council believes these policies reflect GMA’s membership’s priorities and are positions to actively pursue or defend in the 2023 Session of the General Assembly.
