Municipal Leader Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Certificate Program

The Municipal Leader Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Certificate Program is an EMBRACE program designed to equip municipal leaders with the knowledge, tools and resources to create a foundation for sustainable and equitable economic prosperity for their cities and residents by creating an environment that values differences, fosters relationships and seeks a spirit of belongingness.

Schedule

Participants will meet monthly in person from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. over seven months on the following dates:

October 9, 2024 - Module One: Inclusive Leadership
November 13, 2024 - Module Two: Emotionally Effective Leader
December 11, 2024 - Module Three: Financial Management
January 8, 2025 - Module Four: Excellence in Public Safety
February 5, 2025 - Module Five: Economic and Community Growth
March 5, 2025 - Module Six: Community Engagement
April 23, 2025 - Module Seven: Human Resources
May 13-15, 2025 (virtual) - Module Eight: Capstone Project

*Attendance for all modules is required to receive a certificate.
