The defined contribution plan allows employers to contribute on behalf of their employees and/or match contributions employees make to their deferred compensation accounts. The GMA defined contribution plan has 62 members representing more than 2,500 participants and approximately $52 million in assets.
The deferred compensation plan allows municipal employees to voluntarily supplement their retirement savings through the deferral of income before it is taxed. The GMA deferred compensation plan has nearly 113 members representing nearly 3,500 participants and nearly $84 million in assets.
