This training session reviews the basics of COBRA law and how GMA and Participating Employers that offer GMEBS Health Plans work together to ensure compliance with COBRA. It provides examples of common situations and explains the use of different COBRA forms and notices. The training has been updated to address how Billing Services, GMA, and the employer work together to administer COBRA. This training updates the COBRA provisions in the employer’s Participation Agreement.
