This bill would remove the ability of a city housing authority to operate in the 10-mile extraterritorial zone allowed by law. Extraterritorial housing projects in existence would continue to operate, though no new housing projects would be allowed without consent of the city or county in which a project was planned and must conform to that jurisdictions zoning and land use.
